Piñatas are beautiful, colourful things, perfect for photographing. Here we celebrate our favourite pinata photos – from stunningly good to stunningly odd!

Look at that beauty! Surely it must be the biggest pinata in the world?

As you can see from the photo, this magnificent beast (an interesting take on the ‘Burro Pinata’) was created at the Six Flags theme park in Mexico (in 2006).

If you look closely, you can see they haven’t quite finished his front legs yet. The monster is an exact copy of ‘Horstachio’, a character from the Microsoft XBox game “Viva Pinata”.

BUT… You’ll be surprised to hear that no, it isn’t the biggest in the world…
